This advertisement says it fits Macbooks. Perhaps it fits older Macbooks, but I have the newest one and it does NOT FIT.
Item is fine. My only complaint is that Apple should (they originally did) include with Mini, since most are used with non-Apple monitors.
I use it to connect my white Macbook to my Sony Bravia and have had no problems with it.
No. I'm on my second adapter. So I got a new one at the Apple store. But yesterday. What am I supposed to do now. And now, I'm in the former Soviet Union teaching another political science course.
Nothing. Returned the first one after using it teaching a class only to discover that the loose fit in the usb port resulted in no signal to the overhead projector, which was essential for my class. Today. And the adapter is just freaking out. Two days ago, it would send a signal to the projector. The connection is loose at the usb port - a manufacturing flaw.
One hopes that there are competitive products out there that do the same thing.
Does not work for MacBook Pro and when I went to return it CE Compass made it tedious and then is taking 15% off for "restocking." Woops. Not a fan.
